Indian officials Monday said Pakistani Marine Security Agency (PMSA) has captured five Indian boats with 30 Indian fishermen on board off the Gujarat coast.

The boats were captured by the Pakistani Marines from international maritime boundary line in the Arabian Sea off the Jakhau coast.

India's official broadcaster All India Radio (AIR) quoting its sources said that of the five captured boats, two were from Okha and three from Porbander.

According to the broadcaster, Pakistani Marines have so far captured around 57 Indian fishing boats with more than 340 fishermen since October last year.

Fishermen of the two countries are often jailed for accidentally crossing into each other's territory.
