Former U.S. defense heads warn against military use on election claims

Ten former Secretaries of Defense are cautioning against the use of the military in pursuing claims over election fraud, in a rebuke against President Trump’s constant attempt to overturn the results of the 2020 election.

The ten former pentagon heads, including two former members of the Trump administration, Mark Esper and James Mattis, called efforts to involve U.S. armed forced would enter into “dangerous, unlawful and unconstitutional territory.”
