On Tuesday Pakistan said it has re-opened the country's airspace for civil aviation with immediate effect, says a statement by the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority.
The authority issued a notice to airmen, stating "with immediate effect Pakistan airspace is open for all types of civil traffic on published ATS (air traffic service) routes."
This statement came months after Pakistan fully closed its airspace to all commercial flights following the upgrade tensions with India in February.
