Jackie Chan among Forbes Celebrity 100 for third year running

Hong Kong actor Jackie Chan has been listed among Forbes Celebrity 100 for the third consecutive year.

As the only Chinese celebrity on the list, Jackie Chan ranked 39th with an income of US$49 million, most of which Forbes estimated came from his last two films, “Railroad Tigers” and “Kong Fu Yoga”. Both starring Jackie Chan, Kong Fu Yoga earned a box office of $257 million while Railroad Tigers made a grossing of $63 million.

In 2015 and 2016, the 63-year-old action star also appeared on the Forbes Celebrity 100 list, ranking 38th and 23rd respectively.

Jackie Chan has became the first Chinese to receive an honorary Oscar at the eighth Governors Awards ceremony in Hollywood in November 2016.

The Forbes 100 Celebrity is an annual list, which is usually punished in June, of celebrities with the top 100 highest incomes in the last twelve months.
