PSG will resume training on June 22 and reports said that Neymar could have faced a mandatory quarantine if he arrived after June 15.

Neymar traveled to his homeland in mid-March following the suspension of European football's major competitions because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 28-year-old followed a strict fitness regime while being confined to his mansion in Mangaratiba, near Rio de Janeiro, keeping fans updated with regular videos and photos of his training sessions on social media.

PSG were named France's Ligue 1 champions in May after the season was canceled amid the global health crisis.

Having booked a place in the quarterfinals by beating Borussia Dortmund 3-2 on aggregate in March, PSG will hope to finish the season by winning their first UEFA Champions League title.

The club will also contest the finals of the Coupe de France and Coupe de la Ligue against Saint Etienne and Lyon respectively.
