Chinese Vice Premier Li Keqiang expressed the hope that France will continue to create conditions for high-tech exports to China, in a meeting with French Minister of Economy and Finance, Pierre Moscovici, in Beijing.

During the meeting, Li said he hopes France will encourage the EU to remove limits on its high-tech exports to China.

And that China and the EU should work to boost mutual trust and reach consensus over pressing challenges in the tech trade...

Moscovici, who arrived in Beijing on Monday, said France is seeking stronger economic relations with China...

And called for more Chinese investment in France - much of which is currently in the vineyards of Bordeaux.

Despite reports that some French are not satisfied with Chinese "takeovers" in France, the French Minister says it is mutually beneficial... And creates jobs in France.
