Brazilian Foreign Trade Secretary Marcos Troyjo, who recently accompanied President Jair Bolsonaro's delegation to Florida, U.S., has tested positive for COVID-19, his office said in a statement on Monday.

Troyjo was in Miami for meetings but did not attend a dinner hosted by U.S. President Donald Trump nine days ago for Brazilian government leaders. He is showing no symptoms and is working from his residence in strict isolation, the statement said.

Two other Brazilian officials in the same delegation have also tested positive for COVID-19. Fabio Wajngarten, the press secretary for Bolsonaro, was the first known virus carrier, and acting Brazil ambassador Nestor Forster came second. After the news of Wajngarten's infection broke out, both Bolsonaro and Trump were tested for the disease but neither result came out to be positive.
