Atotal of 20 imported COVID-19 cases have been reported so far in Shanghai, according to the municipal health commission.
SHANGHAI, March 17 (Xinhua) -- Shanghai reported three new confirmed cases of novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Monday, all of which were imported, the local health authority said Tuesday.
The municipal health commission said a total of 20 imported cases have been reported so far in the city, while 44 suspected imported cases are under quarantine for further confirmation.
Among the imported cases, 10 were from Italy, four from Iran, two from the United States, two from Spain, one from France and one from the UK.
As of Monday, Shanghai had reported a total of 338 indigenous confirmed cases and three deaths.
Among the 30 hospitalized COVID-19 patients, one is in severe condition and eight are in critical condition. ■
