Austria to enter new lockdown amid spike in COVID-19 cases: report

Austria will implement a new lockdown from next Tuesday amid a surge in COVID-19 cases, the country's national news agency reported citing a draft regulation.

The Austria Press Agency said all non-essential shops will have to close and schools will switch to distance learning as part of the new shutdown, which is set to last until December 6.
