An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.8 jolted 60 km west of Tonopah, Nevada at 1103 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 1.0 km, was initially determined to be at 38.1648 degrees north latitude and 117.88 degrees west longitude.
