Poland will be ready to enter the eurozone by 2015, Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski said in a statement.

Poland is not a member of the eurozone, but wants to become one, Komorowski said.

He stressed that the eurozone will be the most important area of increased European integration, and Poland wants to be at the heart of this integration.

"Poland is currently preparing an action plan that will be published as a schedule of Polish preparations to enter the eurozone at the right moment," he said.
