Pakistani court issues arrest warrants for former PM Sharif

The accountability court issued arrest warrants for Pakistan's former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Thursday, rejecting his plea for exemption from hearing.

"The accountability court issued bailable warrants for the former prime minister in two cases of alleged corruption today and adjourned (the) hearing until November 3," AFP reported, citing one of Sharif's defense lawyers, Zafir Khan.
