Britain imposes acid ban after slew of attacks

British Home Secretary Amber Rudd on Tuesday announced a ban for under 18s on buying acid amid an array of attacks across the nation.

Rudd pledged a crackdown on the acid sale at the ongoing Conservative Party Conference where she also said that selling acid to anyone under the age of 18 would become a criminal offence.

She also promised to make it illegal to carry acid in public without providing a good reason.
