The 2017 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show will be held in Shanghai in less than a week. This is the first time that the lavish event set its venue in an Asian city. Previously the shows were hosted in western countries including Paris, Cannes, London, New York City, Los Angeles, and Miami.

The celebration is unprecedented in the number of participants and ticket price. In previous years a ticket sells approximately at $15,000. This year, however, it has surged to $31,600.

Gigi Hadid won't be walking in the 2017 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show

Perhaps not known to many, the show is a recorded program rather than a live broadcast. The lingerie brand’s first show will start in November 20, but the television audience has to wait until Nov 29.

There will be at least six Chinese models on the runway this year, including Liu Wen, Xi Ming, He Sui, Ju Xiaowen, Xie Xin and Estelle Chen (Chinese French).

Apparently, He Sui is the most experienced angel with her six appearances in the show, followed by Xi Ming, born in Shanghai, with six years of attendance. Liu Wen and Ju Xiaowen will embrace theirs’ second chances and for Estelle Chen and Xie Xie, the first time.

The 2017 Fantasy Bra, valued at $2 million, will be presented by the Brazilian angel Lais Ribeiro

The show will on air November 29 at 10 p.m. on CBS. Mark your calendars and get ready!
