Xi Jinping to attend BRICS summit, APEC meeting, G20 summit next week

Chinese President Xi Jinping will attend a series of leaders' meetings in the coming week via video links in Beijing and deliver important speeches, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying announced on Thursday.

President Xi will attend the 12th BRICS summiton November 17 at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin, the 27th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders' Meeting on November 20 at the invitation of MalaysianPrime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin, and the 15th G20 Summit on November 21-22 at the invitation of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
