Louis Vuitton Announces the Location of its Next Cruise Show

After showing in Rio de Janeiro last season, Louis Vuitton has announced that it will be holding its Cruise 2018 show in Japan this May.

“Since the end of the 19th century, the house has always maintained strong ties with Japan,” Louis Vuitton explained in a statement, and went on to name examples. “The mon (family crest) inspired the Monogram canvas; the long list of renowned Japanese clients; Louis Vuitton’s first store in Tokyo in 1978; and the collaborations with artists such as Takeshi Murakami, Yayoi Kusama, Rei Kawakubo and today Hiroshi Fujiwara.”

The Louis Vuitton Cruise 2018 show will take place on May 14, 2017.
