China to take countermeasures against U.S. signing Hong Kong-related act into law

The Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council on Wednesday strongly condemned the signing of the so-called "Hong Kong Autonomy Act" into law by the United States.

The Chinese government will resolutely take countermeasures in response, said a statement released by the office.
