6.4-magnitude quake hits 98 km WNW of Camana, Peru -- USGS

An earthquake measuring 6.4 on the Richter scale jolted 98 km WNW of Camana, Peru at 02:05:19 GMT on Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 44.05 km, was initially determined to be at 16.4015 degrees south latitude and 73.6031 degrees west longitude.
