On the international stage, the only all-weather strategic partner China has is Pakistan, known as "Iron Pak".

The China-Pakistan friendship is more precious than gold. The delegation of the Asia Pacific Daily visited the Pakistani Embassy in Beijing on March 18 for further strengthening the precious friendship between the two countries.

The delegation was warmly received by H.E. Moin Ul Haque, Ambassador of Pakistan to China. Mr. Haque came to China in August 2020. Although he has been in China for only one and a half years, it is undoubtedly a "highlight" in his career. The warmth and friendship of the Chinese government and people have made him deeply feel the profound meaning of the word "Batie".

H.E. Moin Ul Haque pointed out that last year marked the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China. China and Pakistan held more than 140 events to commemorate this milestone. In particular, cultural activities such as film festivals and literary forums were held to enhance mutual understanding between the two countries.

H.E. Moin Ul Haque believed that the Pakistan-China friendship should be passed on to the future generations. He valued working with the Chinese media. He said that during his one and a half years in China, he has given more interviews than he had in the past three decades of his career, because he could not resist the passion to publicize the friendship between the two countries.

H.E. Moin Ul Haque said that China's rapid economic development over the past few decades is a miracle and the development achievements are "unprecedented". China's successful experience is worth learning by other developing countries, including Pakistan.

Mr. Jin Wensheng, Chairman of Asia Pacific Daily, fully agreed with Ambassador Haque's remarks. "The Friendship between China and Pakistan is a friendship of several generations. What my father told me about the friendship between China and Pakistan is what I am now telling my children", he said.

Mr, Jin Wensheng introduced that since its establishment in Hong Kong in 2012, Asia Pacific Daily has been taking "global vision and promoting China" as its own responsibility, striving to be a bridge of friendship between China and other countries in the Asia Pacific region, and promoting cooperation in various fields between China and other countries in the Asia Pacific region through a series of events such as the ASEAN Development Forum, the ASEAN Productivity Cooperation Forum, the Guangdong 21st Century Maritime Silk Road Expo and the Shanghai "Chinese Enterprises Going Global".

Mr. Jin Wensheng pointed out that the world is undergoing profound changes unseen in a century. The rampant pandemic and Russia-Ukraine conflict are also rapidly changing the world political and economic landscape, which makes China-Pakistan friendship more important. Further development of bilateral cooperation is conducive to the common interests of China and Pakistan.

Defense Attache Brig. Shahid Amir Afsar and Press Attache Ms. Syeda Saira Raza from Pakistani Embassy in Beijing, Cheng Xizhong, Visiting Professor of Southwest University of Political Science and Law and Special commentator for Asia Pacific Daily, and Liu Lili, Editor-in-Chief of Asia Pacific Daily, attended the meeting with H.E. Moin Ul Haque. The hosts and the guests shared the friendship and had a cordial and friendly conversation. We look forward to a better future for the "ferromagnetic" brothers of China and Pakistan.
