Cuba’s first COVID vaccine nears final trials

Cuba could soon reach an extraordinary goal with the mass production of a local COVID-19 vaccine.

Phase III clinical trials are set to begin in March and if the Cuban vaccine clears next month’s hurdle,

it will be the first vaccine to be developed in Latin America.

CGTN’s Luis Chirino reports from Havana.
