Vietnam to host int'l expo on plastic, rubber industry

The 16th Vietnam International Plastics and Rubber Industry Exhibition (VietnamPlas) is expected to take place from Sept. 28 to Oct. 1, said Vietnam's Ministry of Industry and Trade, the organizer, on Thursday.

The event will draw participation of over 320 domestic and international brands from 15 countries and regions, including Belgium, China, China's Hong Kong, China's Taiwan, India, Iran, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, Singapore, Thailand, Turkey, the United States and Vietnam, said the website of VietnamPlas.

Over 500 booths of exhibitors will showcase machinery for local plastics processing industry such as extruders, bag making machine, plastics molding machine, bending machine and temperature control machine as well as chemicals and raw materials including water-repellent coating material, alkaline detergent, recyclable PVC and TPE material, among others.
