China to provide BiH with COVID-19 vaccines

China has decided to donate COVID-19 vaccines to Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH on Wednesday.

Chinese Ambassador to BiH Ji Ping announced the donation during a meeting with BiH Minister of Foreign Affairs Bisera Turkovic.

Turkovic thanked the Chinese government for the donation at this difficult moment when BiH is still struggling for access to vaccines to roll out its vaccination campaign.

On Wednesday, the BiH Ministry of Civil Affairs reported 1,852 new COVID-19 cases and 62 deaths in the last 24 hours, bringing the country's caseload and death toll to 158,198 and 6,067, respectively.
