CMG Copyright Trading Center boosts cooperation in Shanghai

China Media Group (CMG) Copyright Trading Center entered a new round of cooperation with several entities, including Fudan University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the Shanghai Theatre Academy, at the Shanghai Media Port on Tuesday.

Shen Haixiong, president of CMG, Zhou Huilin, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and head of Shanghai Publicity Department and Jiao Yang, Party Secretary of Fudan University, attended the activity.

As China strengthens intellectual property protection, the copyright industry has provided a guarantee and support for China to implement the innovation-driven development strategy, improve economic competitiveness, and build an innovation-driven country.

Since its establishment, the China Media Group has launched a series of masterpieces and expanded the copyright market and trading channels with high-quality resources. In 2020, the copyright operating income of the head office achieved a nearly threefold growth.

Relying on the high-quality resources of CMG and the latest technological achievements of 5G+4K/8K+AI media, the Copyright Trading Center will feature three systems: a central system, a copyright asset management system and an industrial operating system.

The creation of CMG Copyright Trading 2.0 has been pushed forward and will be built into a national public internet copyright infrastructure that serves the headquarters and the entire society.
