Retno said the new Indonesian government is willing to make joint efforts with China to continuously push forward the bilateral comprehensive strategic partnership.

Indonesia thanked China for the invitation to the 2014 APEC informal economic leaders' meeting in Beijing this year, Retno said.

Wang said China proposed potential bilateral pragmatic cooperation in nine sectors to Indonesia during the visit to further promote the bilateral relations.

China is pushing forward the establishment of the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road and Indonesia pledges to play a leading role in maritime affairs, therefore, the two countries have great opportunities in intensifying the maritime cooperation, Wang said.

Besides, the two sides are urged to cooperate in infrastructure, industrial zone, energy, defense, agriculture, people to people contact as well as in the international affairs, Wang said.

Retno said Indonesia fully agrees and supports China's proposal and will determine the priority project within the bilateral cooperation mechanism.
