A three-year-old child died and 16 people were injured in the collapse of a four-storey building in Cairo's Manshiyet Nasser area earlier today, according to Egypt's Ministry of Health.

Most of the wounded suffered minor injuries, while two required surgery.
A search is still going to find any other victims at the site.
According to Al-Ahram Arabic news website, the municipal council had previously issued an evacuation of the building and others on the same street.
The Manshiyet Nasser area is a working class neighbourhood with many buildings erected without licences.
