Carbon monoxide kills five in cement plant in E. China

Five people were killed by carbon monoxide poisoning in a cement factory in Zaozhuang city, east China' s Shandong Province on Saturday.

The incident took place at around 9:00 a.m. local time when the workers were carrying out inspection and maintenance checks inside the plant.

Further investigation into the cause of the incident is currently underway.
