New Delhi, May 1 (APD) - According to Ohio police, four members of a Sikh family of Indian origin were shot dead in Cincinnati over the weekend.

Indian External Affairs Minister, Sushma Swaraj informed on Tuesday that she was in contact with the concerned authorities in the US who were keeping her updated about the investigations.

The victims were one man and three women who were from the same family and were shot while they were in the kitchen preparing food. The police have not yet shared the names of the victims and have also not made any arrests in this context.

The area surrounding the apartment where the murders took place was also searched by the police for clues.
