Six dead in flash explosion at thermal power plant in east China

A flash explosion at a thermal power plant in Chuzhou City, east China's Anhui Province, left six workers dead, local authorities said on Wednesday.

Per details, the workers were carrying out a welding task atop a 5-meter-high tank when the explosion took place. They fell off the tank due to the explosion's impact. One of them died on the spot while the other five died at a hospital.
