Seven dead, 66 injured in kindergarten explosion in eastern China

Seven people have been killed and 66 others injured in the explosion. Among the injured, nine people are in a critical condition.

The incident happened as children were waiting to be picked up after school.

Local authorities have launched rescue work and an investigation into the cause of the blast is underway.
