Two firefighters are among the six people killed in dozens of fires that erupted earlier this week on Turkey's southern coast.

The blazes have swept through resort towns and villages, as people evacuate from homes and hotels across the country.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has declared parts of southern Turkey to be "disaster areas," and surveyed the damage from a helicopter on Saturday.
