Former Argentina soccer star Diego Maradona has died at the age of 60.

According to reports in local Argentine media, Maradona suffered a cardiac arrest. He had undergone a brain surgery earlier this month.

Madarona was widely considered the greatest Argentine soccer player in history.

He led La Albiceleste to the 1986 World Cup, a competition in which he scored the "hand of God" goal against England.

In total, Maradona played in four FIFA World Cup tournaments and featured 91 times in all competitions for Argentina, scoring 34 goals.
