Pyongyang silent as ROK urges DPRK to accept dialogue offer

The Republic of Korea's (ROK) defense ministry on Friday again pressed the DPRK to hold bilateral military talks on easing border tensions.

Pyongyang has so far failed to respond to Monday's offer from Seoul to hold a bilateral meeting on Friday at the truce village of Panmunjom, in what would be the first inter-Korean military talks in nearly three years.
