Two women trapped after bus crashes into shops in south London

Several people were injured and two women trapped after a double-decker bus crashed into a shop in south London on Thursday morning.

The shop front collapsed after being hit by the bus on Lavender Hill, Wandsworth.

The driver was among the injured, all of whom have been treated by paramedics from the London Ambulance Service, said police.

According to the local fire brigade, the two women were conscious and breathing.
