Protests erupted in Paris after police forcefully cleared out a temporary migrant camp at Place de la Republique. The protests come as Parliament voted to move forward with a new security bill on Tuesday. Critics say the bill will make it harder to record police brutality.

The bill would ban sharing images of police officers with “the aim to harm” or "malicious intent.” It will be debated in the Senate in December.

France’s Internal Minister launched an investigation into the police’s actions.
