French police evacuates banks of River Seine ahead of curfew

French police on Sunday evacuated hundreds of people along the banks of the Seine River before a curfew started on 6 p.m. The country registered 21,825 new COVID-19 cases, and 130 more fatalities on Sunday, bringing its tally of confirmed cases to over 3.9 million and total death toll to 88,600, local health authorities said.
