In the United States, the coronavirus cases reach 331,234, as the death toll is close to 10,000.

President Donald Trump approved disaster declarations for the states of Delaware, South Dakota, New Mexico, Mississippi and Oklahoma. This clears the way for more federal funding to respond to the coronavirus crisis.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson was admitted to a London hospital due to "persistent symptoms", ten days after he tested positive for COVID-19. In footage posted to Twitter last Friday, Johnson said he had mild symptoms including a fever and was self-isolating in accordance with "government advice.”

Scotland's chief medical officer resigned Sunday after facing criticism for visiting her second home twice during the coronavirus outbreak. Although Dr. Catherine Calderwood had cautioned the public to avoid such trips, pictures of her on family trips to Earlsferry were published in a Scottish newspaper.
