Agencies limit number of background actors on sets to minimize risk

The coronavirus pandemic has drastically changed the film industry.

While Hollywood studios have gradually resumed productions in recent months, there are still many safety regulations and restrictions in place that have also influenced the way in which production crews are recruited.

In an effort to minimize the risk ofanotheroutbreak, agencies are now booking a limited number ofbackgroundactorson longer contracts.
