According to recent reports, more than 400 people are currently under observation on suspicion of having caught the Coronavirus in India.

In Delhi three men, who reached India from China on Monday, were admitted to Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) hospital for examinations.

Dr Minakshi Bharadwaj, medical superintendent of RML hospital, said, “They walked into the hospital on their own with symptoms of cold and cough which is similar to the coronavirus outbreak.”

In Mumbai, five people are in a quarantine ward as they are suspected to have caught the virus.

In the province of Kerala, over 430 people, who recently returned from China’s Wuhan province, are also under observation.

45 Indian medical students at Jianghan University School of Medicine in Wuhan, are currently stranded in their hostels, and have asked the Indian authorities for help.

Meanwhile reports also suggest that, the national carrier Air India could airlift Indian students from Wuhan.

Coronavirus has spread to more than 10 countries now and the death toll in China is estimated around 106, while 4,000 cases have been confirmed so far.
