The rapid deterioration of India is more dangerous for regional peace and stability. Since Narendra Modi took power as Prime Minister, the extremist, intolerance, and terrorism gained momentum. His political party backed by extremist Hindu groups like RSS is causing real problems.

In order to convert India from a secular state to a Hindu extremist country, Modi and Hindutva extremist groups are over-active. They are engaged in the ethnic cleansing of minorities, including Christians, Muslims, Sikhs, and low caste Hindus. They have marginalized the minorities and suppressing them, either to leave India or convert to Hinduism.

India is preparing for legislation in its legislative assembly, both in the upper house as well as in the lower house, to amend the constitution to declare India as a Hindu state, instead of a secular state. Constitutional amendments are required two-third majority or 67% seats in legislative assemblies. India is harassing minorities, small political parties, or tempting greedy legislators with heavy bribes to pass the bill to convert India into a Hindu state, with Hinduism as a state religion. This will be a disaster for all other minorities.

india_pakistan_border_-_panoramio.jpgKashmir is the worst case, where, India has surpassed all records of atrocities and brutalities. 900,000 troops have sieged 8 million civilians in Kashmir under the worst lockdown curfew for almost one year. Torture, detentions, killing, raping, injuring is a matter of routine in Kashmir. Due to prolonged curfew, shortage of food, fuel, electricity, and medicines has made the lives of common people in Kashmir a misery. The accessive use of force under draconian laws are pushing Kashmiris to rebel and take arms against India.

Denial of Sikhs' rights and religious freedom has sparked a wave of hate in the Sikh community, which is around 150 million by population in India and may intensify their struggle for independence. Other insurgencies are also gaining momentum and may initiate arm-struggle to get their demands accepted by the authoritarian government of Narendra Modi. Injustice and marginalization of minorities have been witnessed a sharp growth all over India.

Amended Citizenship Act-2019, has sparked a huge reaction, as it was aimed at harming Muslims only, especially the Muslim immigrants from Bangladesh in the 1970s. Roughly two million Muslims might lose their Indian nationality and face deportation to Bangladesh. Narendra Modi’s discriminatory policies have harmed India an irrecoverable loss.

Unfortunately, India is a country with no clearly demarcated International countries. With Nepal, India has grabbed their territory and created a dispute. With China, there is no international border recognized globally, it is the Line of Actual Control (LAC), which is not so well defined, too. With Bhutan, the borders are disputed, With Sikkim, India has annexed illegally. With Pakistan, there is a Line of Control (LoC), which is not a permanent International border. With Myanmar, border disputes are the creation of Indian expansionism. Even that, India created disputes with Sri Lanka and Maldives too.

The wrong policies of Narendra Modi have damaged the country’s economy. The foreign investors are scared of local law and order situation and leaving the country, taking out their capital. Local investors are also scared of extremist groups and the government’s inability to provide protection, resulting in shifting of industry out-side India. The capital outward flow is increasing. Intellectuals, Skilled workers, and people having money are shiting in Wester World, either seeking jobs, transferring their capital, seeking immigration, or asylum, but leaving India. It might cause a huge brain drain in India.

Social unrest and communal friction have forced businesses and industries to shut down. Economic activities have gone down to the extent that the country is already in recession. If a similar situation prevailed for some more time, the national economy may collapse and the country may default.

Indian foreign policy failed totally, and India is facing complete isolation in the region. India having disputes with all its neighbors and in the region, is soaring relations with them one by one. Its relations deteriorated with middle-east after Hindu extremists tried to export their hare for Muslims in the middle-east. India’s relations with the West are also facing challenges due to its human rights records and lack of religious freedom.

In fact, Narendra Modi is keeping good relations with President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu at the cost of the rest of the whole world. That is his vision of foreign policy.

Injustice and intolerance practiced by his government have made India a place where nobody can live peacefully, which has created huge pressure on the Indian Government. The collapse of the Economy has left India under severe tension. Border disputes have pushed India to a desperate-state more. The UN has identified, terrorist groups exist in India, are alarming again. A crazy, desperate, and nervous Modi, can take any wrong decision and can drag the whole region into severe crisis, turning into hell. Especially, being a nuclear state, it can be a total disaster, if PM Modi decided so.
