Ghana becomes first country to receive COVID vaccines from COVAX

Ghana on Wednesday became the first nation to receive coronavirus vaccines via the United Nations-backed COVAX finitiative.

UNICEF procured and delivered 600,000 doses of the AstraZeneca-Oxford vaccinefor the largest vaccine supply, procurement, and distribution endeavor in history.
