Friends and professors mourn Yiran Fan killed in shooting

Yiran Fan, a Chinese PhD student at the University of Chicago, was killed in a random shooting last Saturday. His friends and professors are shocked and heartbroken about his death.They are remembering Yiran as a promising scholar whose potential was cut short.
