The bodies of the nine Hong Kong citizens, who died in the hot-air balloon blast last month in Egypt, have been transferred to Hong Kong, from Cairo.

On Monday evening, the victims' coffined corpses were moved into a local mortuary for further investigation.

Hong Kong officials and family members of the deceased were present.

The flight carrying the bodies from Cairo was scheduled to arrive in Hong Kong on Sunday...

But was delayed due to the bad weather there, before the insurance company rearranged the trip on Monday.

Families of the nine victims flew back to Hong Kong last Monday, after identifying the bodies on February 28th.

The accident occurred on February 26th, when a hot air balloon carrying 21 passengers caught fire over the ancient city of Luxor... killing 19 people, including the nine Hong Kong tourists.
