Huge fire engulfs tower block in London

A huge fire has broken out on Wednesday morning at a tower block on the Lancaster West Estate in North Kensington of London, UK, the London Fire Brigade confirmed on its official Twitter account.

The fire was reported at 1:16 a.m. local time (0016GMT). Picture taken by twitter users show the 24-story building was engulfed by huge flame.

At least 40 fire engines and 200 firefighters have been dispatched to battle against fire, officials said.

The Metropolitan Police said two people have been treated for smoke inhalation and an evacuation process is underway.
