One killed, seven injured as transformer explodes in central China

One passerby was killed and seven others were injured when a transformer exploded in central China's Hunan Province on Monday, The Paper reported citing local authorities.

The incident took place at around 8:44 a.m. in Yongzhou City.

Local authorities said an investigation is underway
