Taiwan train mishap: Chinese mainland extends condolences to victims

Ma Xiaoguang, a spokesperson for the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, on Friday extended condolences to the victims of the train accident in Taiwan.

A passenger train carrying over 350 people derailed in eastern Taiwan at around 9 a.m. local time; at least 40 people are feared dead.
