Brunei's sultan congratulates Laos on National Day

Brunei's Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah has sent messages of congratulations to Lao leaders on the occasion of the country's National Day, the state- run Radio and Television Brunei (RTB) reported on Wednesday.

In his messages to Lao President Choummaly Sayasone and Prime Minister Thongsing Thammavong, the sultan said he valued the close and warm relations shared between the two countries bilaterally and as regional partners in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).

He also expressed his hope to further renew friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

The 39th National Day of Laos falls on Dec. 2, 2014. Enditem
