Lebanon's healthcare system is collapsing.

Under the weight of an economic crisis, a struggling government, and COVID-19, hospitals have run out of supplies and medical workers are exhausted.

Hospitals are turning off air conditioners to conserve energy, relying on generators, and using saline solution alternatives.

They're also running out of important medical supplies, including cancer medications.

In Beirut, a group of protesters gathered outside the UN headquarters in protest of the shortages.
