Egyptian soldiers killed in car bomb blast in northern Sinai

At least ten Egyptian soldiers, including one colonel, were killed in a suicide bomb attack in northern Sinai on Friday, Reuters has reported.

Around 20 people were wounded in the blast, according to Xinhua.

The blast happened on Friday at an army checkpoint in the city of Rafah when two vehicles were detonated.

No group or individual has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.
