13 killed in ISIL attack on funeral in north of Baghdad

At least 13 people were killed and 45 were injured on Friday in an attack by ISIL at a funeral and a nearby checkpoint in Salahudin Province in Iraq, according to local authorities.

In a statement, Salahudin Provincial Governor Ammar al-Jaber condemned the deadly attack, stressing the security forces will launch an investigation into the incident to bring the perpetrators to justice.
