The Chinese Embassy in India expressed strong dissatisfaction and firm opposition as certain Indian media published an article openly advocating "Taiwan independence" and "Taiwan's participation in Word Health Organization (WHO)", spokesperson of the Chinese Embassy in India Counsellor Wang Xiaojian said in a statement on Saturday.

China firmly opposes any separatist activities to create the so-called "Taiwan independence", "two Chinas", or "one China, one Taiwan", said Wang.

"We urge relevant Indian media to take a correct stance on issues of core interests concerning China's sovereignty and territorial integrity, adhere to the One-China principle, not to provide platform for 'Taiwan independence' forces, neither to send wrong messages to the public," Wang added.
